The White Cresset Arts Journal wants to be the fuel and receptacle for your flames, blazing bright in the never-ending dark. Send us that spark, that first flash of irridiscent crimson, or send us bonfires and explosions, threatening to consume restless days and restless nights. Send us the flame.

Submission Guidelines
– We are especially interested in poems with rich, original symbolism and imagery, and/or powerful emotive impact.
– Simultaneous submissions and reprints of previously published pieces allowed (please credit the original source[s]).
– Submissions should be in English (translated work is allowed)
– Check our copyright policy for more information.
Prose
– Up to 5,000 words
– Short story/flash fiction collections allowed (provided the total words are less than 5,000)
Poetry
– Up to 300 lines
– Poetry collections allowed (provided the total lines are less than 300)
Art
– Up to 5 A4 pages

After our publication decision, you can request feedback via a form link, or email us directly.
Will I be paid for my piece?
Unfortunately, we don’t have the financial means do so at this current date (all of our masthead are also volunteers). However, ywe encourage you to provide us with links to payment or ‘tip-the-writer’ accounts to receive donations from readers.
I have not received a confirmation or response in the stipulated response times. What do I do?
We may not be able to send individual confirmations of your submission – due to the sheer number of submissions we receive, and our fast response times.
